April - Spring Banquet for BIBR Inmates and Families

  • We raised $6,004 for the BIBR Spring Banquet

May - Closet Cleanout

When men and women leave prison, they are given one outfit. BIBR provides a clothing closet where members can supplement their clothing needs. Let’s fill this clothing closet with nice clothing items for both men and women including:

  • Jackets - winter and summer

  • Tops - dressy, casual, short, long, sweatshirts, and sweaters

  • Bottoms - jeans, dress slacks, and shorts

  • Shoes - sneakers and dress shoes

  • Accessories - purses and belts

  • Undergarments - *only brand new

June - Food Drive

For the month of June, we will be helping BIBR alumni who live in the community after being released from prison. We need specific food items for this drive including:

  • cereal

  • peanut butter

  • jelly

August - Towel Drive

For the month of August, let’s make sure every graduate has a new clean towel set when they are released. Bring a bath towel or full set during the upcoming month.

September - Deodorant & Body Wash Drive

For the month of September, let’s purchase deodorant and body wash for those BIBR members who are still in prison.

October - Journey of Hope Benefit Dinner

October 22 is BIBR’s 9th annual Journey of Hope Benefit and Awareness Dinner. You are invited to join in person to hear amazing stories from BIBR members and their voices of hope. It is held at 5:00 p.m. at the Church of the Resurection.

November & December : Christmas Banquet

Buy a BIBR inmate or their family a meal and hygiene goodie bag for $10 through The Church Center App or indicate “BIBR Banquet” on a church envelope.
