Brett Turner Francis

Hi. I'm Brett Turner Francis, and it is an honor to serve as your worship pastor. My personal mission as a worship leader is, "To lead people in corporate worship by being a worshipper, and to purposefully instruct, inspire, and empower people to live a life of continuous worship." My prayer for Antioch is that each of us will continue to grow in understanding what it means to live a lifestyle of worship. I pray that the worship of our God will go beyond our services and programs.

I am returning to the Kansas City area after spending some wonderful years with a church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a homecoming for me, a Gladstone native and North Kansas City High School alumnus.

My wife Erin is originally from Olathe. She and I met in the fall of 1990 when we were 12 and 13 respectively, and after countless proms, homecomings, and a long-distance relationship during college, we were finally married in 2001. We are raising our sweet daughter Brennah, born in 2006, and we always carry the memory of our daughter Grace, who passed away at birth in 2004.

My education is from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where I studied music composition and church music. Along with my ministry in the local church, I continue to write songs and produce recordings in my home studio. And when I'm ready for a diversion from music, it's likely that you'll find me wrapped up in a landscaping project.
